Save the Date! Earth Day Celebration will be on Saturday, April 18

Earth Day 2020 – “Get Active!!”

MAPLE RIDGE, BC – Save the Date!! Next year’s Celebrate Earth Day festival takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2020 from 10am to 2pm at Memorial Peace Park in the heart of Maple Ridge. Join us to kick off festival season with the Family Freecycle, Food Truck Festival, Repair Café, Cycle Recycle Free Bike Draw, Electric Vehicles, entertainment, a special Haney Farmers Market, and more! Our eco-inspired, family-friendly event features hands-on art & activities, interactive displays, and lots of entertainment to celebrate our community & environment.

2020 sees the continuation of our “Heal(thy) Community, Heal(thy) Self” theme. In 2019 we focused on Mental, Social, & Economic Health and in 2020, we will look at Healthy Infrastructure, Environmental Health and Physical Health in the lead up to Maple Ridge hosting the BC Summer Games.

We look forward to showcasing Maple Ridge’s natural assets and green infrastructure initiatives, highlighting ways for people to get physically active, and encouraging people to step up & take action on things that are important to them. The main Earth Day event, which attracts over 3000 people, will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 from 10am – 2pm at Memorial Peace Park.

Celebrate Earth Day 2020 welcomes all community groups, environmental groups, green businesses, students, clubs, and residents to be part of our event! Sign up to have an interactive booth or activity, volunteer and meet other awesome people, or audition to be one of our performers.Participant, Performer, & Volunteer registration forms available online at
