“We Can (Finally) Fix That!” – Maple Ridge’s Repair Cafés Are BACK With Safety Protocols in Place!
On Saturday, October 23, Maple Ridge Repair Cafés return at the Maple Ridge Senior’s Activity Center (12150 224th Street) from 10am – 2pm.
Repair Cafés are pop-up events where residents can bring their broken items (small appliances, lamps, electronics, jewelry, clothing, small toys or furniture, etc.) and volunteer expert “fixers” are available to help residents learn to repair their stuff – for free!
The event will be held at the Maple Ridge Seniors’ Activity Center. Proof of vaccination will be required to enter the venue and people attending the event will be required to follow current provincial public health orders, which now includes everyone over the age of 5 wearing a mask at indoor events. Repair Café organizers will provide hand sanitizer and set up markers to help with social distancing.
Don’t forget to bring your kids to Tinkerbell Station where they can get hands on with tools and tinker & create to their hearts’ content!!!
