Next Repair Cafe Saturday, March 18 at the Maple Ridge Library!

On Saturday, March 18, Maple Ridge Repair Cafés will be at the Maple Ridge Library, located at 22470 Dewdney Trunk Road, from 10am – 2pm!

Repair Cafés are pop-up events where residents can bring their broken items (jewelry, clothing, bikes, small toys or furniture, small appliances, lamps, electronics, etc.) and volunteer expert “fixers” are available to help residents learn to repair their stuff – for free!

At the March 18 event, we will have TWO special guests – Museum on the Move and the Ridge Meadows Quilter’s Guild! Bring in your old, worn quilts that need a little TLC and we will do our best to get them back into shape! And if you have an old quilting project you started and stalled out on, there will be enthusiastic quilters available to get you re-started and re-inspired!

Don’t forget to bring your kids to Tinkerbell Station where they can get hands on with tools and tinker & create to their hearts’ content!!!
