2 Community Education & Special Event Assistant Positions Available!
Ridge Meadows Recycling Society has two summer positions available for students returning to school in the fall. The positions start Monday, June 2 and end Friday, July 25 (8 weeks).
The positions are full time (35 hours/week), may involve flexible hours (including weekends), and pay $22.00/hour. Please send in your applications ASAP.
The Community Education & Special Event Assistant positions involve helping with educational and outreach activities for the Society. These activities will take place at the Maple Ridge Recycling Depot, online, and throughout the community.
Applicants must be comfortable interacting with the public online & in person, be proficient at written communication, and demonstrate good customer service and diplomacy in dealing with the public. Team building skills, flexibility, adaptability, social media experience, organizational skills, self-starters, independence, an interest in environmental issues, and creativity are also assets. Opportunity to learn & develop event planning and management skills. Applicants should have a class 5 driver’s license, own vehicle is an asset.
