FREE Summer Depot Tours Are BACK!!
Join us on Sunday, June 29, or on Wednesday, July 2, to learn about the depot and recycling! All ages are welcome and for safety, young children must be with accompanied and nearby their caregiver at all times.
Our Environmental Educator, Dan Mikolay, will take you around the depot to teach and show the various stages of sorting and processing recyclable materials.
Some cool things you’ll get to see are the inside of a recycling tipping truck, the hydraulic baler, and maybe some metal appliances being crushed by the excavator.
