Celebrate Plastic Free July with FREE on-demand screening of “The Story of Plastic”
Plastic Free July is a global movement to encourage people to avoid single-use plastic, recycle the plastic they can’t avoid, and to educate others about plastic waste.
As part of Plastic Free July, Maple Ridge Climate Hub and Ridge Meadows Recycling Society are co-hosting an on-demand screening of the revealing documentary, “The Story of Plastic,” followed by a post-screening discussion on Zoom.
The Story of Plastic takes a sweeping look at the man-made crisis of plastic pollution, and the worldwide effect it has on the health of our planet and the people who inhabit it (see trailer below).
Register for free and receive a link to stream the full-length documentary at your convenience any time up to July 21. Register at: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/the-story-of-plastic-a-free-documentary-you-can-watch-from-home-tickets-111553954882?aff=ebdssbonlinesearch
